CENF-EHN1 Computing Cluster Manual

CERN Neutrino Platform (CENF) in EHN1 facility represents CERN effort to foster fundamental research in the field of neutrino accelerator physics as decided by CERN Council in the framework of the 2013 European Strategy [9].Among many conducted experiments, two very different detec-tor technologies are in the process of being installed as part of DUNE prototyping activity: NP02(ProtoDUNE-DP) and NP04 (ProtoDUNE-SP) [5]. Theses detectors requires a local computing farm for: • Data acquisition (DAQ), • data monitoring for NP02 and NP04, • online data processing for NP02, • extra resources for NP04, • simulations, data analysis and reconstruction jobs for experiment participants. CENF-EHN1 cluster IT-infrastructure was implemented with the need of flexibility in mind, using the best practices in CERN computing IT-infrastructure. This document includes both the user manual describing the use cases the participants may have as well as administrator manual for people responsible for the cluster maintenance
